Hello!
I am a full-time farrier (8 years experience). I trained at Oklahoma Horseshoeing School in Purcell, Oklahoma.  I reside near Kelso, Washington, serving clients in Cowlitz, Lewis, Clark & Wahkiakum counties in Washington and Columbia county in Oregon.  I do both hot & cold shoeing, along with corrective and therapeutic shoeing & trimming, including "Natural Balance" techniques. I will also trim for high performance barefootedness for horses and mules not needing shoes.  I work with all breeds of horses (minis to drafts) and mules & donkeys.

I also do some training, particularly to stand for hoof care. This is "natural" resistance-free type training.  I work with a lot of weanlings, yearlings & older unbroke horses.  I will never hit, spank, kick, scream or otherwise scare your horse as I want it to be BETTER the next time. I believe that proper training and handling sets a precedent for a life of successful stress-free hoof care.

I personally own 4 horses, including an adopted wild mustang ("Daisy").  I trail ride & compete in penning, sorting & Cowboy Mounted Shooting.

Please contact me today to discuss your horse's shoeing or trimming needs!
